This was evident with the smiles on the faces at the Cajun Festival in Baton Rouge, Louisiana held just weeks after Hurricane Katrina passed through the Gulf Coast regions. There were many a New Orleans refugee that attended this annual event and the relief from their respite was evident on their faces. | Live entertainment for a Bayou-Blast-Foot-Stompin-Good-Time by "THE PORCHDOGS". The Porchdogs Specialize in Louisiana-Style Cajun and Zydeco Music. At this year's festival they will be performing with their full 6-pc band.They also perform various other styles including bluegrass and old time fiddle music, classic rock, and Island music. They have been performing for 11 years at cajun and bluegrass festivals across the country, as well as regular appearances at Florida attractions, conventions, and theme parks. The group has appeared every year at Ft Lauderdale Cajun/ Zydeco festival, the nation's largest. |
