| Downtown Orlando's #1 Public House A public house, informally known as a pub, is a drinking-establishment licensed to serve alcoholic drinks for consumption on the premises in countries and regions of British influence. The Harp and Celt Restaurant and Irish Pub were built with Irish influence by a Dublin carpenter and designer. You may notice the similarities between “Mulvaney’s Irish Pub” that was located on Church Street in downtown Orlando and the Harp and Celt. Both were built by the same Mulvaney family. The Boyd family and the Mulvaney family shared a dream, and together built the Harp and Celt and jointly own and operate the establishment. With a labor of love, we were able to preserve the original wood that dates back to 1923 during the demolition phase of the of construction and use this original wood throughout the establishment that combined with our slate and wood floors gives it an authentic 1900’s turn of the century look and feel. Keeping to what a public house entails and represents, we have recreated the character, quality and atmosphere of some of the best social houses located throughout Ireland and the British Isles. From the Irish homemade food to the complete selection of beer and spirits, add in our classic Irish music and the best FREE live soccer and rugby coverage in Orlando and we excel as a “public house”. 25 South Magnolia Avenue Orlando FL 32801 (407) 481-2927 |
